Reczek - Walker Wedding

Or is it Walker - Reczek, I don't know how that stuff works.

On Saturday April 9th 2005, Lindsey Walker became Lindsey Reczek (it should work out great, they can shop together, share product, fix each others hair, give each other pedicures and even swap purses ever so often - you know the kind of things best-girlfriends do). LBP members Phyve, Conrad, Marty, Tyson, me (Coy) and our friend Chris (Beatty couldn't make it) all donned suits and tried our best not to fart. Drop Trio's Ian Varley played the wedding march and Phyve made all of the old women cry when he sang "The First Time Ever I saw Your Face". Drop Trio played during "cocktails" and later there was a cover band (for a wedding band they were pretty good but - NO BRICKHOUSE? What kind of wedding is this anyway)? Everything went well and the couple were off to go snorkeling or whatever it is that newlyweds do on their honeymoon when I noticed my car was on the sidewalk partially embedded in a building. I was pretty sure that wasn't the way I had parked it and the cops agreed. Luckily, the guy who hit it was still there and everything is working out O.K.

So Beatty will apparently be going to Iraq, he leaves in mid-August and will be gone for 15 months. The rest of us are both worried about him and very proud of him. I know he will represent our country and his family well. We love him and we will miss him while he is away. He takes our support with him as I'm sure he does yours. Please feel free to write him if you like. beatty@littlebrotherproject.com

I have been doing very well since I have been home. The new heart is in perfect condition and the surgery related stuff is all but a memory. I am now starting to truly understand the opportunity I have for a new start and I can't wait to dive back into LBP head first.

Little Brother Project will officially begin work next week with a meeting to discuss where we go from here. We have a partially finished album and a small window of time before Beatty leaves. So the record will be topic one and topic two is what do we do while he's gone. All we know right now is that we all are going crazy without LBP. I am very excited to see what this time off has done for us, so far it seems like we are all chomping at the bit to play which is an oddly wonderful feeling.

Check back with me soon and I will keep you informed on what to expect.

Thanx to Drop Trio (you guys are way too cool to ever play a wedding),
Thanx as always for all of your support,
We will be seeing you soon,
Coy - LBP Bass

Congratulations Marc & Lindsey
