NYE is on and MMW may have reason to come to Houston!
As stated in our email we are on for NYE! Our second annual NYE bash @ Dean's will be quite an event and if you look at some of the pictures of last years soiree you'll know I'm not lying. I would suggest to everyone to contact our boy Tyson (tysonstargel@hotmail.com) and buy your tickets early, or if you are wise beyond your years you can test your skills with Marc (marc@nrbhtx.com). He offers a way to get tickets by asking for Phish data that could take lifetimes to find out...or 10 min at any Phish fansite. By naming three Phish related side projects you could win free tickets. Take advantage of this simple task and you may cross the bridge of death into the land of Groovatopia this NYE. I received an email from our good friends Drop Trio recently informing us that Madeski Martin and Wood, the Gods of the groove, are inquiring about a city to come jam out in. I implore you all to email them and demand they come here to Houston. And while your at it demand that LBP and Drop Trio open for them. For those of you who aren't hip to the sounds of MMW I suggest you pick up their Shack Man album...some of the best funk instrumentation I have ever heard. It would be a most pleasant stocking stuffer for any funkaholics you may know.Peace out,
